Did you realise just how small our world is? And thanks to our ever increasing number of vehicle being mass produced to meet the demand for our population that can afford their own vehicle nowadays, it’s just getting harder to move around. Well, it doesn’t kill the purpose of getting more vehicle being manufactured monthly now, isn’t it?
That is why we can notice the recent increase of interest towards Electric Scooters. The advantage over owning a scooter against any other vehicles like SUV and MPV is obvious. Its price is dirt cheap compared to that of a car. Plus, it’s way more easier to be maintained due to its lightweight nature.
If your main goal is to reach your destination in the fastest speed, then, it will be a very good idea to own an Electric Scooter. The size of an Electric Scooter allow its rider to ride thru traffic jam with a breeze and this enable them to reach their destination faster than a car or cab would take during any traffic jam. If you’re a thrill seeker, or simply always on the move, the varying speed feature that an Electric Scooter have definitely is something to look forward to.
It’s cool to have an Electric Scooter, but due to the fact that it’s not widely accepted as a mean of vehicle, the price of an Electric Scooter is still a little more expensive compared to a normal gas-powered scooter. And with the popularity that Electric Scooter is picking over the long haul, owning one Electric Scooter is sure to be the next big thing in our youth culture.
The fact that Electric Scooters is still not being heard of in some countries makes the possibility of getting a cheaper priced scooter in near future to be quite impossible. With the proper marketing effort by Electric Scooter manufacturer and distributer, it probably would take less amount of time for it to get the exposure it deserve.
Electric Scooter is the perfect choice for the elderly and handicapped. It can help them to move about effortlessly and not be too rely too much on others .
But the problem with Electric Scooter is, it require its battery to be constantly being charged. It’s literally useless without electricity. But, even gas price will increase, so if you think about it, it’s really not a big deal.
Let’s just hope that the price of this funky scooter to decrease sooner so that we can see more people riding Electric Scooter.

An electric mobility scooter can be a great item if you have difficulty moving around or need one due to an accident or disability.
It is possible to still maintain your independence by using an electric mobility scooter and there are models available for indoor and outdoor use.
You may be able to participate in activities you have had to give up and as electric mobility scooters have become more popular the prices as decreased significantly.
There are many different models currently available and they all offer slightly different options. Many times it can be difficult to choose the right electric mobility scooter.
The following scooters are all available, heavy duty scooters, scooters with baskets and headlights, scooters with oxygen holders, foldable mobility scooters, petite scooters, two seater scooters, three and four wheel scooters and 4 wheel drive scooters.
When choosing an electric mobility scooter you will need to think about the weight of the scooter, the size and battery capacity.
Most scooters will also be available in a wide range of colors. Three wheeled mobility scooters will be a bit lighter then four wheeled models but a four wheel scooter may be more stable and have better balance.
You should always test drive any scooter you are interested in to determine which one handles the best and which controls are the easiest for you to use.
Electric mobility scooters tend to be favored over a wheel chair as a scooter can be used both indoors and out of doors while wheel chairs are typically built to be used only indoors.
Scooters are also much easier to steer and the steering is from the front and not the back.
The EV Rider Sportser electric scooter offers three different models, a porter cargo model, single seat scooter and double seat model.
The design is very similar to a three wheeled motorcycle and these scooters have high performance are very maneuverable. The controls were all ergonomically designed and very easy to use. The captain’s chair rotates 360 degrees so you can access the scooter from any direction.
The X-treme X-10 is a portable electric scooter that can be folded up and carried like a brief case. The average speed of this scooter is 8 to 10 mph and has a weight capacity or 200 lbs.

For the faint of heart, scooter tricks may not be something worth attempting, but for the rest of us who like a little excitement in our lives, a lot of tricks can be turned out on the Razor A5 Lux Kick Scooter.
There are literally dozens of tricks that both kids and adults can do on the Razor. The A5 Lux specifically has super sized 200mm spoked urethane wheels for exceptional stability and a super strong deck that’s supports up to 220 pounds, so everyone can ride hard.
Getting Air with the Razor Kick Scooter
Here are just a few of the awesome tricks that thrill seekers are performing on the streets every day. A lot of them may seem familiar as the Razor Scooter is closely related to standard skateboards. Most people start out with basic tricks, and then lay on the challenge with some complex moves and combinations.
1) The Bunny Hop – This is one of the most classic moves and has been performed on both bikes and skateboards for years. Just like on a bike or board, the rider builds up some speed on their Razor, bends their knees a little and springs up while pulling up on the handlebars. When landing keeping the knees bent will help leveling upon impact.
2) One Leg Ride – This one is pretty self explanatory. Start moving on the scooter and then take your hands and either one of your legs off the scooter. For balance lean on the handlebars. Then, lower your leg and bring your hands back to the handlebars.
3) The Tail Whip – This trick takes a little more courage but blows people away when executed cleanly. Once the rider gets some speed going, they bunny hop high in the air and kick the deck around the t-bar handle. When the deck fully swings back the feet catch the deck before landing to the ground.
4) Laydown – After accelerating, lean to the right or the left. At the same time push the handlebars in the opposite direction of the lean. Maintain balance by bending your knees to lay down the scooter as far down as comfortable. Get back up before losing too much speed.
The Razor Scooter is for everyone
These tricks will be sure to please the adventurous Razor rider, but are only a sample of what is actually possible. Razor tricks have become such a craze that fans are taking to skate parks and are even putting their stunts on YouTube video to share with others. Your creativity is the limit though. Invent your own moves with the Razor A5 Lux and show others you mean business.
Not Just another Kick Scooter
Chances are you know someone with a Razor Scooter if you don’t already have one yourself. The A5 is here to please every type of rider; both the aggressive trickster and the conservative commuter. Remember to always play iy safe and wear a helmet while you are tearing down the road.

If you have just bought a mobility scooter (or are planning on buying one soon), there are a few things you should consider before venturing out and spending your money on one.
The first thing you should know is that there are often rules and laws regarding mobility scooters in each municipality. Check with your local authorities first about what the rules are. While most cities are very accommodating to scooters, you don’t want to break the law! One law found in many jurisdictions that scooter owners may be surprised to discover is that if you ride a scooter you are considered a pedestrian… not a vehicle operator. As such, you’ll need to stay off the roads as much as possible (unless, of course, the sidewalks are impassable). However, recent court cases have found that driving a scooter while impaired could lead to a fine under the motorized vehicles act in your state!
When you get a scooter, be sure to deck it out with reflectors, reflector tape, and a tall, bright orange flag. That will help motorists see you if you have to travel in the dark and are forced to travel on the road (if, for example, there are no sidewalks where you live). Put reflector tape across the back of the seat and the bottom of the scooter and consider a small flashing light like joggers wear. If possible, avoid being out late at night on your scooter if your scooter doesn’t have headlights. Get a headlight mounted on your scooter easily if you want to travel after dark.
If you have a long way to travel, don’t get stranded! Carry an extra battery or a solar powered charger with you. Batteries will wear out and if you have an extra one, you’ll be okay!
If you travel in a climate that gets really hot or wet or snowy, consider getting a canopy to go over your scooter. This will keep the wet and the heat off of you. Don’t forget to pack a bottle of ice water with you when you go out. You may not be doing vigorous walking, but you’ll still need to stay hydrated…and it’s easy to forget that when you’re not putting one leg in front of the other.
Although it may be tempting to listen to music while you travel, avoid putting headphones in both ears. Between the music and your scooter’s engine noise, you may not hear traffic at a crosswalk or other machinery (like those small city sidewalk cleaners) that may need to share the sidewalk with you.
Consider carrying a small, portable ramp to allow you to get into places that you might not normally be able to. Many cities and commercial buildings are becoming more and more scooter friendly but they are not all 100% compliant yet. A small ramp will make the difference between being able to go where you want and getting turned away.
Mobility scooters are a great way to gain back your independence if you’ve found that you cannot walk around as much as you used to. Use these tips to keep yourself safe and secure as you travel. Happy mobility!

Though we all have legs that help us to move from one place to another, but when these legs get damaged, we have no other option but to depend on others for this very basic activity because our mobility gets seriously affected. Mobility is also affected through congenital malformation of one or either leg or may be caused due to accident. And the person may also become immobile due to old age. In order to counteract this problem, wheelchairs were invented long ago. However what was really needed was something that could be used in the road because the wheelchairs were good only in the home and within the yard. And this is why the mobility scooter was brought out. Though you will find that there are many companies that are making these scooters for those with mobility problems, there is a company by the name of Pride that has become quite a preferred one. And thus now the mobility scooter by Pride has become a name that is recognized for dependability and quality. Starting with mechanized wheelchairs, colloquially called Pride Power Chairs, they soon diversified into manufacturing mobility scooters.
The mobility scooter from Pride is available in two basic types – the three-wheel variety and the four-wheel variety. When it comes to maneuverability, the three wheel type performs better than the four wheel variety and this is because of its single axis structure. But it also needs to be mentioned here that many people are extremely satisfied with the 4 wheel scooters and this is because of their seamless ability to make turns on account of Pride’s patented ‘JZMD Mid-wheel Drive’ design technology.
Here are some of the three wheel varieties of the mobility scooter by Pride
(a) Go-Go Ultra X 3-wheel Electric Scooter
(b) Go-Go Elite Traveler 3-wheel Electric Scooter
(c) Rally 3-wheel Electric Scooter
(d) Sonic 3-wheel Electric Scooter
(e) Celebrity X 3-wheel Electric Scooter
(f) Sundancer Electric Scooter
(g) Victory 3-wheel Electric Scooter
(h) Legend 3-wheel Electric Scooter
(i) Maxima 3-wheel Electric Scooter
These are some of the four wheel mobility scooters from Pride -
(a) Go-Go Ultra X 4-wheel E. Scooter
(b) Go-Go Elite Traveler 4-wheel E. Scooter
(c) Rally 4-wheel Electric Scooter
(d) Revo 4-wheel Electric Scooter
(e) Victory 4-wheel Electric Scooter
(f) Legend 4-wheel Electric Scooter
(g) Legend XL 4-wheel Electric Scooter
(h) Hurricane PMV 4-wheel E. Scooter
(i) Maxima 4-wheel Electric Scooter
(j) Wrangler PMV 4-wheel Electric Scooter
However the price of the mobility scooter by Pride tends to vary to a great extent as there are a few models that tend to cost more than others and this is because they come with advanced features – however many people still prefer them because of these premium features. They can get financial assistance from Medicaid for this, and the authorities are also extremely willing to help them get the scooter quickly. Medicaid is a great program for the benefit of all those who are underprivileged, elderly and are suffering from physical disability. But that is not all – the company is also keen to process the papers for application to make it easier for the applicant and also to speed up the process.
