Holy shit! Okay, here is yet another instance where Polysics literally steals stuff from DEVO. Polysics released a number of singles with the band on scooters (coincidence? Yeah right).
Seriously, it’s cool that Polysics are so inspired by DEVO, but come on! They could at least try to come up with just ONE idea of their own.
I wish lame-ass youtube didn’t take down R U Experienced.
*hums Freedom Of Choice*
there’s still many people like and play his Honda Elite, I have ch125, I like them, and still runing well !
God, I remember this ad like it was yesterday. Always wanted a red Honda Scooter but I was only 9 years old back then – LOL

there are many to choose from and they all look the same in like 3 colors lol
“Did the Honda execs … realise the satirical nature of the message?”
Maybe, maybe not.
But it’s still a great commercial.
And, Devo would be laughing all the way to the bank just like “Bob.”

Did the Honda execs, after viewing the advert, even realise the satirical nature of the message?

The one the Devo guys are on is the ‘85-’86 Elite 150 Deluxe (CH150). The only scooter ever with a pop up headlight!
I like the slogan: they are everything but ordinary.^-^
