Electric Scooter Ride( in winter)

by admin on February 2, 2010

To answer every ones questions. Picture what you saw the scooter do and the video and times it by 3. Thats about how far it will go. It takes a while to charge and i usually charge overnight. Charging in between rides is a great idea. Power up hills is ok. Right now my handlebars snapped off so i have to get them welded. My battery is also pretty bad now.

I found a seat that is made of suede NOT LEATHER as leather was slippery. It has no DONG for in between legs. It is an ASS seat that would not work on a bike but is like sitting on the hulks left and right hand one on each cheek…Ha ha! It makes standing up seem seatless and sitting on a but contoured pillow. Wallmart had them and for a scooter U would be amazed…or I wouldn’t tell about them. Leather was way to unstable/ slippery. Hope I helped a cool person somewhere.Cold effects distns 4me

thanks!

pizzaisgood14 February 2, 2010 at 1:28 pm

I never experienced any problems with cold temperatures. Just make sure you dont leave it outside overnight. A garage will be fine.

Hey Pizza, cool vid.

I’m thinking about getting an electric bike for winter riding. Does the cold have any impact on battery performance? First, if you store it inside, and your trips is under 1/2 hr. Next, how about if you store the bike in the cold over night?

thanks so much. this looks awesome.

questions about the scooter do you mean

RichardBoy56 February 2, 2010 at 3:37 pm

are you still takeing Q’s

dolphinsfans00777 February 2, 2010 at 4:17 pm

wow! you shouldn’t really let your friends ride your scooter anymore.

pizzaisgood14 February 2, 2010 at 4:51 pm

When i have the money ill weld the bars, Get anew battery, and also a new throttle because my freind crashed it and broke the throttle. Other than that its all set.

pizzaisgood14 February 2, 2010 at 5:48 pm

From pulling wheelies the handle bars had started to bend and finnaly just bent too much and snapped. Its really really thin metal on these scooters.

dolphinsfans00777 February 2, 2010 at 6:23 pm

Really! than why did your scooter break?

pizzaisgood14 February 2, 2010 at 6:43 pm

Obviously you don’t know very much about a scooter like this. The batteries are already in a zippered up battery pack so water cant get in there. Second, the controller is almost entirely sealed. I put some epoxy over the hole where the wire goes in and never had a problem. Ive driven this through snowbanks and never even thought of having a problem.

dolphinsfans00777 February 2, 2010 at 7:07 pm

if something wet gets into the battery compartment, your screwed. its not a gas powered scooter.

pizzaisgood14 February 2, 2010 at 7:51 pm

why do you say that.

dolphinsfans00777 February 2, 2010 at 8:35 pm

You can’t ride those things in the snow. retard!

I am thinking about getting this scooter. Does yours still run? Is it reliable?
THANKS

marineofuac February 2, 2010 at 11:42 pm

hey if your camera has a tripot mount, you can take off the front reflector, put a bolt in the screw hole and the camera on the bolt…

so its like having a camera mount on your handle bars!
