In many areas these motorized items are not legal for use on the sidewalks or in the streets. According to the information, they are capable of speeds of up to 15 miles per hour, and falls at this speed can cause sever injuries to the body and the head. Not to mention the possibility of injury to pedestrians.

These should never be used without close careful direct adult supervision.

There have been quite a few reported injuries to children using this type of devices.

If you are unsure about purchasing this item, I urge you to please read some of the reviews on other Razor products. You will find numerous complaints about this company. After reading all the problems people have had with other Razor products and chargers, I can’t believe they continue to sell their crappy products. We spent over a hundred bucks on a Razor Electric Scream Machine for my son last year for Christmas. He’s ridden it maybe 5 times since then, because the charger fails after a few uses. After tracking someone down at Razor (their customer service sucks as bad as their products), they sent us a new charger. Used it once, then that quit on us. Tried to get our money back, but they said they will only reimburse for taking it to a repair shop. What a pain, what a disappointment, what a waste of money. Don’t expect them to stand behind any of their products. They don’t have anyone at their company to talk to when you call. You must leave a message, and wait for them to get around to calling you. By the way, the Electric Scream Machine is no longer on the market. They make their money selling their defective products, then pull them from the shelves knowing they’re defective, but won’t refund a dime to their customers.

Can anyone tell me if this scooter has enough power to be riden across a large yard? My nine year old would absolutely love this, but she would have to travel across a fairly large lot before she could reach pavement.

Do you know if it has enough power and sits up high enough for this? I would really appreciate any responses to this question, would love to buy this for her for Christmas, just don’t want it to be a disappointment. Thanks for your help!

Ordered the correct product. Received something else. It has been a month sitting in the front of my garage and it has not been picked up by UPS which was supposed to be 2 days job. Now the product the I ordered through shop AMX is not available. I am not happy at all. I see it as Amazon.com fault but no one is taking responsibility for it.
