Thanks for the input, cypher. We did get it fixed, and you were on the right trail with the hall sensor not working. It turned out to be that one of the wires from the hall sensors was pulled out of the connector.

sounds like you got hall sensor problems…these brushless motors have hall sensors that need to be connected and working in order for it to run right

Haha,

The most catastrophic problems are almost always the simplest solutions!

I went and helped WW with it, and we found a wire off, all fixed!!!

It runs excellent now!

So far I got a reply back from xtreme, saying to try the other plug and see if performance improves. I have already tried this, so I patiently replied back to them that both plugs produce the same result. I also sent them a link to this video so they can see in real time what it is doing. Stay tuned for the next installment of the saga!

Actually not as odd as you might think. Rhonda used to ride the hell out of a scooter, and we would ride almost every day together in spring thru fall. A 6′3″ dreadlocked albino man and a supersized gal riding scooters… Quick! Somebody call Ringaling Brothers! LOL!

I hope so too. Hey, at least I can say that I will get to know my bike very intimately before I ride it. I have been all up and down its wiring harnesses, checking connections and plugging in plugs.

Yeah, it is an excercise for my calm spirituality. I got such a good deal on it pricewise, that I understand if I have to be like the dealer would, and deal with a defective bike. Usually the dealer takes care of all these problems behind the scenes, and all us civilians get to see is a pretty looking scooter sitting on the sales floor. I will keeep on them until I got it running.

Damn WhiteWolf …that sucks……hate to see that kinda sht happen……they seem to have a “ship it out now & worry about it later” policy
Hope you get it running soon, looks pretty cool.
